Volunteers Are Worthy Indeed!
In Luke 10:7, when Jesus sent out the disciples in pairs he instructed them as follows:
“Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they give you; for the laborer is worthy of his wages”.

Intrepid Volunteers On The Ground In Poland
Our team worked at the refugee center today. As one refugee group moved out, they broke down the cots, washed the linens, washed the floors, and disinfected all spaces in advance of the next group of refugees being placed in the space.
The Poles are highly organized. The refugees are being well fed and cared for. The refugees are orderly, businesslike in their interactions.
Note the strong presence of Caritas at the train station. Also note that they are even providing free SIM cards to enable the refugees to connect to the local network. Finally, not in the refugee center, see the hat the little boy is wearing!

Ukraine Refugee Mission Update
The group arrived safely at the monastery in Przemsyl yesterday.
Eight were sent right to the border where they tended to refugees, boarded busses with them, and then set out on a three day journey to facilitate the refugees placement in private homes throughout Poland.
One group was assigned to work at the train station assisting refugees being processed there and then sent by train elsewhere.
No cell phone use or photos allowed while the volunteers are working.

Day two
Day 2Hello everyone, boots on the ground. We arrived in Krakow mid day then headed to Przemysl, had a quick meal, took our things to our room and headed out to the Refugee Center. We are working in two groups at two locations. We are assisting with whatever is needed. We are in awe of the work being done by the relief agencies. Here are some pictures to take you through our day. God bless, keep praying.Fr. Andrew -
Watchmen At The Gate
Psalms 127:1
A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain.
24 hour prayer vigil at St. Clare for the 20 person mission to Poland to help Ukrainian refugees.
Parishioners signed up for shifts throughout the day and night.
Pictures to come of the men who stood watch overnight –
keeping a vigil over the prayerful.

A Chance To Support Christian Charity by Fr. Andrew
The last two weeks were very busy with calls, emails and texts arranging and organizing our humanitarian effort to assist those suffering due to war. Your generous support, through prayer, financial assistance and good will for the refugees from Ukraine are tangible acts of love for our worldwide family. We hope to be your hands, feet, hugs, hearts and smiles to those we serve and let them know they are not alone or forgotten. Thank you for your help.
